Law enforcers arrested at least 186 people in special drives conducted in four districts since Friday night.
Our Jamalpur correspondent reported that police arrested at least 102 people from different upazilas in separate raids.
Superintendent of Police (SP) Delwar Hossain said that the arrestees were listed criminals and had cases of smuggling, terrorist activities and robbery.
In Satkhira, police arrested 31 people including three Jamaat-e-Islami activists, our correspondent said.
They were arrested from Kalaroa, Tala, Shyamnagar, Ashashuni and Sadar upazilas.
On the other hand, at least 44 persons including two Jamaat activists and four drug traders were arrested from 11 upazilas of Dinajpur district, our correspondent reported.
Police arrested nine leaders and activists of Islami Chhatra Shibir, the student wing of Jamaat, from Fakirhat in Senbagh Upazila of Noakhali, UNB reported.
