He was supposed to return home at that time but, as he did not, his family members searched for him everywhere including Pallabi police station, Tejgaon police station and Dhaka Medical College Hospital.
On Thursday night, his brother Shafiq-ud-Dowla lodged a general diary (GD) with Tejgaon police station, the OC said.
Later, the GD was forwarded to Tejgaon Industrial police station on Saturday around 3pm, confirmed Inspector (Investigations) Mohammad Rasheduzzaman.
