Abducted child found buried

A minor boy was found buried in the Choto Ashulia area of  Dhamrai in Savar on Tuesday morning, three days after he was kidnapped.

The deceased was identified as Monir, 5, son of  Sona Mian in the area.According to family members, the abductors kidnapped Monir on Friday afternoon while he was around his house.

Later, they demanded Tk10 lakh from Sona Mian  as ransom.

He informed the matter to Dhamrai police station.

The police arrested Majedul and Sabbir, neighbors of the family, suspecting them as the abductors of the boy.

According to their confessional statements, the police conducted a drive in the area and exhumed the body on Tuesday morning.

Dhamrai police station Officer-in-Charge Dipak Chandra Saha said a case was filed in this connection.
