They were involved in money laundering business, says BGB
Two Indians were arrested with Tk4 lakh from Benapole port area of Jessore on Tuesday night.
The Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) identified them as Rakesh Ghosh, 27, and Sumon Mandal, 24.
Based oon a tip-off, a BGB team led by Nayek Rafiqul Islam conducted a drive in the area and arrested them along with the money around 6:30pm.
They were involved "money laungering" business, said BGB.
Later, the arrestees were handed over to Benapole Port police station.
