The OC, Aslam Sikdar, was withdrawn on Wednesday night by order of Chittagong range’s Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Mohammad Anwar Hossain, confirmed Senior Assistant Superintendent of police Mohammad Saiful Ahmed Bhuiyan.
Since joining the police, Aslam has been accused of harassment by a number of people in the district.
