
Shah Md Aminul Haq has joined as the chairman of Bangladesh Chemical Industries Corporation (BCIC).
Before joining the new workplace on July 2, he served as an additional secretary at the Economic Relations Division under the Finance Ministry.
Earlier, he also worked at the information and communication technology, and road transport and bridges ministries.
As a government delegate he travelled to Japan, China, India, South Korea, Australia and the US, where he worked in different partnership policy sectors. He has also the experience of working as an engineer in Dubai and Singapore.
He was a part-time faculty member in different private universities.
Moreover, Aminul, who secured his BSc Engineer (Civil) degree from Buet and Masters from the UK, also worked with United Nation, World Bank and different important sector.
He penned a book titled “Aid and Development.”
