
A three-day international flight safety seminar that was organised by Bangladesh Air Force (BAF) and the Civil Aviation Authority concluded at Falcon Hall, Tejgaon on Wednesday.
The aim of the seminar is to bridge the perspective on flight safety challenges of both civil and military communities since the airspace is used jointly, according to a press statement. 623 delegates from 12 countries took part in the seminar.
Security Adviser to the Prime Minister Major General (Retd) Tarique Ahmed Siddique attended the closing session as chief guest and awarded certificates to participants.
Assistant Chief of Air Staff (Operations and Training ) Air Vice Marshal Masihuzzaman Serniabat, Chairman of Civil Aviation Air Vice Marshal M Naim Hassan and Director of Flight Safety Air Commodore M Mortuza Kamal also spoke at the seminar.
Military and civil representatives from several countries including China, India, France, Sri Lanka, Jordan, Oman and Russia took part in the event. Chief of Air Staff Air Marshal Abu Esrar inaugurated the seminar.
