Two members of banned militant outfit Ansar al-Islam have been arrested while travelling to Dhaka from Narayanganj by a train.
Abdur Razzak alias Masum Halder, 27, son of Mojibur Rahman of Joinkathi locality in Patuakhali, and Tarek Ahmed alias Sohel Rana, 30, son of Hafiz Ahmed of Muradnagar in Comilla, were arrested on Monday night.

“A Rapid Action Battalion team arrested the two active Ansar al-Islam members after raiding Boroitola, Gendaria and Kamalapur Railway Station areas in Dhaka,” said RAB 10 Commander Md Shamsuddin.
The RAB team seized explosives, bomb making materials, and Jihadi literature from their possession, he added.

Shamsuddin further said they were plotting to carry out sabotage in Dhaka.
