
An oil tanker filled to the brim with oil capsized on Airport Road in Dhaka on Monday.
The truck was carrying hundreds of litres of oil.
Nure Azam Mia, officer-in-charge of Airport police station, said the incident took place around 12:30pm when the tanker driver lost control of the steering at the intersection in front of Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport, overturning the truck.

Police and a firefighting unit rushed to the spot and used a wrecker to remove the tanker around 5pm.
Afterwards, firefighters helped remove the oil spill from the road.
The incident made traffic quite difficult on the Airport Road.
The cost of the fuel lost could not be ascertained.
