12-year-old among fatalities from October 13 fire
A minor boy, who suffered burning in a fire incident in Uttarkhan area, Dhaka, has succumbed to his injuries at Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH).
Sagor, 12, died in the burn unit of the hospital on Saturday night, taking the death toll to six.
The DMCH police camp in-charge Sub-Inspector Bacchu Mia confirmed the matter, reports UNB.
Eight people suffered burn injuries when a fire broke out following a leak in the gas pipeline on the ground floor of a two-storey building on October 13.
Most of the victims were garment workers, and one of them was a rickshaw puller.
The injured were taken to DMCH, where Azizul and his wife Muslima Urmi, Purnima, Sufia, and Dablu Mollah have since died.
