Jubilant FoodWorks Ltd announced on Tuesday it would partner with Golden Harvest QSR to launch Domino’s Pizza in Bangladesh

The international pizza franchise, Domino’s Pizza, recently launched in Bangladesh has declared it will be the number one pizza chain in Bangladesh within the next five years.

“We have four prime targets to achieve: serve great tasting pizza, provide value for money, value customer experience, and finally technology,” said Hari S Bhartia, co-chairman of Jubilant FoodWorks Limited.

He made the remarks during the official launching ceremony of Domino’s Pizza in Dhaka’s Dhanmondi on Friday.

Hari S Bhartia said Bangladesh is a key strategic market with immense potential for growth in the food service industry.

He said they are delighted to launch Domino’s Pizza in Bangladesh in partnership with Golden Harvest QSR Limited.

CEO of Jubilant FoodWorks, Pratik Pota, said: “We will serve high quality pizza with international flavours complementing the taste of Bangladeshi customers.

“A customer can use the app to order pizzas in 16 flavours under three categories, which will be delivered within 30 minutes.”

“Domino’s Pizza comes to Bangladesh with a menu that is a unique combination of some of the top internationally favourite pizzas, along with pizzas which were developed especially for Bangladesh,” he said.

“Domino’s Pizza will bring a strong focus on ensuring value for money for its customers with pricing starting at Tk149, which will help attract new customers.

“Customers will soon be able to enjoy hot and fresh pizzas at the restaurant or in their homes,” he added.

Rajeeb Samdani, managing director of Golden Harvest Group, said: “Domino’s Pizza is one of the largest pizza brands recognized for its quality and delivery experts.”

He also said they will open at least five outlets in Dhaka within a year.

Golden Harvest QSR, part of the diversified Golden Harvest Group with interests across the food, dairy, logistics, and commodities industries, has brought Domino’s Pizza to Bangladesh.

Jubilant FoodWorks Ltd (JFL), which operates US quick service brands Domino’s Pizza and Dunkin Donuts in India, announced on Tuesday it will partner with Golden Harvest QSR to launch Domino’s Pizza in Bangladesh.

JFL will be the majority shareholder with 51% of total shareholding, while Golden Harvest QSR will hold 49%.
