Man killed in Jatrabari road accident

A motorcyclist was killed on Saturday evening, after being rear-ended by a BRTC bus at Shonir Akhra in Jatrabari, Dhaka.

The deceased Mamun, 43, was taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital, where the on-duty physician declared him dead.

Jatrabari police station Sub-Inspector Abdul Halim said: “Victim’s body has been kept at the hospital morgue for autopsy. The bus has been seized.”

The deceased’s sister Kulsum said, Mamun used to work at their uncle’s shop in Siddique Bazar. He had just bought the motorcycle and was heading home to his family in Narayanganj.
