The deceased was suffering from fever for five days
A garment trader has died from dengue at the Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH).
The deceased is Md Awolad Hossain, 32, son of Tofazzel Hossain, from Paschim Bazi Kosba in Munshiganj Sadar upazila.
He died around 4:20am on Wednesday.
Awolad was suffering from fever for five days and got admitted in ward 601 of DMCH, around 2:30am on the same day.

Assistant Director of DMCH (administration), Dr Md Nasir Uddin, said: “Till date 18 people have died from dengue in DMCH.”
From January 1 till August 6, a total of 29,912 people have been affected by dengue in Bangladesh.
A total of 23 dengue patients have died across the country from January 1 till August 6, according to government data. However, the unofficial death toll is 66.
