On August 10, Bangladesh Railway rescheduled the departure time of at least six trains headed to the west zone of the country from Dhaka's Kamalapur railway station
Railway Secretary Md Mofazzal Hossain has said the Lalmoni special train has been cancelled due to schedule collapse.
He said this to reporters at around 11am on Sunday while addressing the ongoing schedule debacle of almost all trains headed to different destinations of the country from Dhaka ahead of Eid-ul-Azha.
Apologizing to holidaymakers, the secretary said: "The Lalmonirhat-bound special train was scheduled to leave Kamalapur railway station at 9:15am. However, the train has been cancelled."

"Those who bought tickets for the train will get a refund from counter 5," he added.

According to the newly announced schedule, all trains leaving Dhaka for different parts of Bangladesh are late by at least one hour to 13 hours at most.
