Two cases have been filed against 135 BNP leaders and activists including BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, and Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi in Dhaka.
The cases were filed on allegations of blazing bikes in front of the Supreme Court on Wednesday night.
Dhaka Metropolitan Police's Ramna Division Deputy Commissioner Sajjadur Rahman confirmed the matter.
He said: "A group of miscreants set three bikes on fire in front of the Supreme Court on Wednesday."
"The cases have been filed in connection with the matter."
It is to be noted that, the latest medical report of BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia’s physical condition is supposed to reach the Supreme Court from Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) on Thursday.
