Special taskforce formed to smoothen health screening at Dhaka airport

The team will work round the clock

The Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh has formed a special taskforce to provide necessary support to the medical health service team at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport (HSIA) in Dhaka.

The task force, led by Group Captain AHM Touhid-ul Ahsan, started its operation from Friday, said CAAB Chairman Air Vice Marshal M Mafidur Rahman.

“We have appointed two inspectors, five supervisors and 20 Ansar members to provide enhanced support to the other members working at the airport round the clock,” he added. 

The team was formed aiming to control the travellers, and help the health desk, formed to tackle the coronavirus pandemic, he furthered.
