The deadly blaze erupted at the factory at around 3am
Members of the Fire Service and Civil Defence (FSCD) have doused a deadly blaze that erupted at a tire factory at Dhaka’s Tejgaon area.
A total of 12 firefighting units took the blaze under control after a two-hour-long effort around 5am on Wednesday morning, reports Bangla Tribune.
Talking to the media from the scene, FSCD Deputy Director Debashish Bardhan said: “The fire was taken under control at 05:05am. However, the source of the fire could not be confirmed yet.”
Earlier, a deadly blaze erupted at the factory at around 3am.
FSCD Control Room Duty Officer Forhad Hossain said seven firefighting units rushed to the sport after the being informed of the fire at 03:10am.
