A sand-laden vehicle hit the motorcycle while it was taking a U-turn
Two people have been killed in a motorcycle accident in Dhaka’s 300-feet road.
The deceased are Ajmin Khan Lami, 27, of Dhaka’s South Badda area, and his relative Amir Hossain Reaz, 18, a student of Residential Model College from the same area.
The accident happened around 6:45am on Friday.
Amir’s brother Abhi said a sand-laden vehicle hit the motorcycle, his brother and Ajmin were riding, while they were taking a U-turn in 300-feet road.
The duo was rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where on-duty doctors declared them dead.
DMCH police outpost in-Charge Md Bacchu Mia confirmed the matter and said the bodies have been kept in the hospital’s morgue for autopsy.
Khilkhet police station has been informed about the incident and the sand-laden vehicle was seized, he added.
