Dhaka Wasa honours low income customers

A total of 25 customers were honoured at the event

The Dhaka Water Supply and Sewerage Authority (Wasa) has honoured its low income customers through a memorandum.

WaterAid Bangladesh and Dushtha Shasthya Kendra (DSK) organized a distribution ceremony in collaboration with Wasa at the Buriganga Hall Room of Dhaka Wasa building on Saturday, said a media statement.

Helaluddin Ahmed, senior secretary of the Ministry of Local Government, Rural Development and Cooperatives, was present as the chief guest on the occasion.

Md Ibrahim, additional secretary (Water Supply Division) of Ministry of Local Government, Rural Development and Cooperatives, and Hasin Jahan, country director of WaterAid Bangladesh, were present as distinguished special guests.

A total of 25 customers were honoured at the event. 

Eng Taqsem A Khan, managing director of Dhaka Wasa, presided over the function.
