The cause of the fire is yet to be determined
The fire that broke out in a tin-shed house near Korail slum in Mohakhali, Dhaka has been brought under control.
Three units of firefighters rushed to the spot and doused the fire, confirmed Lima Khanom, duty officer at the Fire Service and Civil Defence control room.
The fire had started at around 3:50pm on Saturday. The firefighters, with the help of the locals, got the flames under control at around 4:25pm, she said.

The fire broke out in a tin-shed house next to the slum and ravaged three houses next to it, said the duty officer.
The cause of the fire was yet to be determined. The extent of the damage had also not been evaluated yet, she said.
No casualties or major damage were reported right away, she added.
