Another injured person in critical condition
A person has succumbed to burn injuries sustained in an explosion at a building in East Tejturi Bazar area of Dhaka's Tejgaon.
Jeetu Hasan, 28, died while undergoing treatment at the ICU of Sheikh Hasina National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery early on Saturday.
Around 64% of the surface of his body was burnt, said Dr Partho Shankar, resident physician at the institute.
Meanwhile, Yasin Taqlukder, 35, the other person injured in the blast, is currently receiving medical care at the same institute.

Yasin suffered 50% burns and is in critical condition, said Inspector Bacchu Miah of Dhaka Medical College Hospital police outpost.
The explosion occurred at around 9:30pm on Friday on the second floor of a six-storey building in the area, media reports quoted Fire Service official Dewan Azad as saying.
No explosives were found at the blast spot, Counter Terrorism and Transnational Crime Deputy Commissioner Abdul Mannan told an online newspaper.
The authorities have yet to determine the exact cause of the the explosion.
