IUB’s 18th Convocation to be held today

A total of 1419 students will receive certificates for successfully completing Honours and Masters degrees. Minister for Education Mr. Nurul Islam Nahid, will preside over the Ceremony and confer degrees among the students on behalf of President Md Abdul Hamid, the chancellor of the university. Sir Fazle Hasan Abed KCMG, Founder and Chairperson of BRAC will grace the occasion as convocation speaker and Professor Abdul Mannan, chairman of the University Grants Commission of Bangladesh will attend as a special guest.
