ULAB signs MoU with A2I

University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB) on Thursday signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Access to Information (A2I) Programme at Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) in Dhaka. Professor Dr HM Jahirul Haque, vice-chancellor of ULAB, and Kabir Bin Anwar, director general (Administration) at PMO, also the project director of A2I Programme, signed the MoU on behalf of their respective organisations. Different departments of ULAB will conduct collaborative research, evaluation, assessment, review, case studies, training, design credible development strategies, joint campaigns and many other activities in association with A2I under the MoU. Professor Dr SM Mahbubur Rahman, head of Department of EEE; Professor Sazzad Hossain, of Department of CSE; Dr Samiya A Selim, associate professor and director of CSD; Asif Uddin Ahmed, assistant professor and deputy director of Academic Affairs of ULAB; Anir Chowdhury, policy advisor of A2I Programme; Dr Ramiz Uddin, head of Results Management at A2I Programme; Jalal Uddin Ahmed, admin specialist of A2I Programme; were also present at PMO during the MoU signing ceremony. A2i Programme is playing a key role in implementing e-service in Bangladesh in coordination with different ministries, divisions and directorates of the country.
