
Dhaka University (DU) will publish the results of Kha Unit admission test for first year honours courses for the 2017-18 academic sessions on Monday.
Acting Vice-Chancellor (VC) Prof Akhtaruzzaman will announce the results from the central admission office at the university’s administrative building at 12:30pm, according to a DU press release.
After that, candidates can also receive their results by either visiting DU’s admission website at https://admission.eis.du.ac.bd or through SMS by sending “DU”<space>“KHA”<space>“roll number” to 16321 from any mobile operator.
A total of 32,749 admission seekers contested for 2,363 seats in the Kha Unit exam this year, averaging 13.86 candidates per seat. This time, there are 122 more seats available than last year.
Last year, 34,606 students had competed for 2,241 seats in this unit.
Five people, including a DU student and an admission seeker, were arrested over an alleged attempt to cheat in the Kha Unit admission test held last Friday.
