SSC exams rescheduled for Bishwa Ijtema

The tests began across the country on February 2

Three tests of the ongoing Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations have been deferred for Bishwa Ijtema, which is scheduled to begin on the bank of the Turag River at Tongi on Friday.

Chief of Inter-Education Board Coordination Subcommittee Prof M Ziaul Haque, also the Dhaka Education Board chairman, on Sunday said the exams of February, 16, 17 and 18 will now be held on February 26, 27 and March 2, respectively, reports UNB.

The SSC tests began across the country on February 2.

On February 26 the exam will begin at 10am, while the exams on February 27 and March 2 will begin at 2pm and 10 am, respectively, according to an official release issued on Sunday, reports BSS.

The practical exam for music on February 26, will now be held at 10am on March 3.

The practical exams for all other subjects under the education boards scheduled to be held from February 27 to March 5, will now be held at 10am from March 4 to 10, added the release.

Bishwa Ijtema, the second largest Muslim congregation after Hajj, will be held for four days in a single phase this year from February 15 to 18.
