The Ministry of Primary and Mass Education has been televising classes for primary students on Sangsad TV since April 7, and broadcasting them on radio since August 12
The Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education (DSHE) has taken a plan to broadcast lessons for secondary school students on radio during the Covid-19 pandemic.
DSHE Director General Prof Syed Md Golam Faruk said the initiative would be implemented with assistance from the Access to Information (a2i) Program of the Prime Minister’s Office.
“If everything is working well, we will launch the radio programs soon,” he added.
Earlier, the Primary and Mass Education Ministry started televising classes for primary students on Sangsad TV from April 7, and on radio from August 12.
The government has extended the closure of all educational institutions till October 3. All educational institutions have been closed since March to prevent the spread of Covid-19.
