Digital education is the way to democratize quality education, says Shohoz MD Maliha Quadir
App-based service provider Shohoz has launched its own education technology (EdTech) platform, Shohoz Learn, aiming to facilitate seamless online learning in light of the ongoing Covid-19 situation.
It is initially being introduced with an award-winning collection of more than 100 children’s ebooks with audio reader and assessment tools from the world-renowned publishing company Scholastic, in partnership with global EdTech platform MommyDaddyMe, said a press release issued on Thursday.
As the Covid-19 pandemic continues to disrupt the education system, educators find themselves working with students via various online EdTech platforms.
“Shohoz Learn aims to facilitate this transformation of the human connection and interaction to enable seamless learning. It intends to increase children’s learning potential by transforming traditional methods of learning into more innovative and fun active learning experiences,” Shohoz said.
The platform was specifically designed to make it easy for both children and their parents to access and adopt, it added.
Anyone can subscribe to Shohoz Learn by downloading the Shohoz app from Google Play or App Store.
Shohoz Managing Director Maliha Quadir said: “Proper adaptation of technology can make us a developed nation much faster than our current pace.
“Education is the pillar that can totally transform a country, and digital education is the way to democratize quality education.”
In the coming months, Shohoz plans to increase the diversity and volume of quality EdTech tools through the introduction of classrooms, dashboards, discussion boards, educational video content, podcasts, etc, the press statement said.
