He said the party's leaders and activists are not happy with the number of seats
Jatiya Party (JaPa) Secretary General Moshiur Rahman Ranga has said Jatiya Party will contest the 11th general election for 174 seats—including 29 seats of the Grand Alliance.
He stated this to the journalists at the Jatiya Party chairman's Banani office on Monday afternoon.
The secretary general stated the party's leaders and activists are not happy with the number of seats they received, but they have accepted it for the sake of the Grand Alliance.
Responding to a question, he said: "There will be no loss to the Grand Alliance in the open election, because we will support the strongest candidate in the Grand Alliance. The open election will create motivation among the party leaders and workers."
The upcoming 11th parliamentary election is scheduled to be held on December 30.
