BNP nominee’s campaign office vandalized in Narail 2

BNP nominated candidate for Narail 2 constituency, Fariduzzaman Farhad’s campaign office has been vandalized by a group of local miscreants during where office furniture was destroyed and campaign banners were torn down.

The incident took place on Tuesday afternoon, around 3pm, after BNP leaders and activists returned to their campaign office in the Lohagora upazila after campaigning in the upazila areas.Consequently, an activist meeting scheduled to be held at the office was cancelled.

Addressing the incident, Farhad accused the upazila’s Awami Jubo League and Bangladesh Chhatra League activists for initiating this act of violence. 

However, the upazila’s Jubo League leader Robiul Kabir criticizing the mishap said that, this cannot be the act of any faction and that unfortunately it has injured the image of Mashrafe Bin Mortaza, the Awami League nominee for this constituency.
