Law enforcement agencies have designated 490 voting centres out of 667 as “important” in five constituencies in Pabna.

According to information from district police, 456 polling centres in the plainsand 34 centres located across the wetland areas of the region were marked as “important.”

Apart from this, 43 polling centres out of 58 in Aminpur unit, and all 44 centres in Ataikula unit, have been marked important by law enforcement agencies.
Pabna Additional Superintendent of Police Gautam Kumar Biswas said: “In order to ensure fair and safe elections, RAB (Rapid Action Battalion) and Ansar forces have been deployed along with 2,020 police members, 550 army personnel and 14 platoons of BGB (Border Guard Bangladesh) members.”
