Police recovered the body of a young man with bullet wounds in Lakshmipur sadar upazila in the early hours of Sunday.
The body was found behind Boralia Primary School polling centre, reports UNB.
The identity of the deceased could not be known immediately, said Abul Kalam Azad, OC of Chandraganj police station.
Locals said a gunfight between two groups had taken place in the area around 10:30pm on Saturday.
The dead body was sent to Lakshmipur General Hospital morgue for an autopsy, the OC further added.
