The program began at the Supreme Court Bar Association auditorium around 10am on Friday, and will continue until 4-5pm, with an hour break in the middle at 1pm.

At the beginning of the program, BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir read out a condolence message in memory of the victims of the Chawkbazar fire.

Oikya Front leaders and activists also paid homage to the victims by observing a one-minute silence.

Later, a six-member panel led by Oikya Front convener Dr Kamal Hossain started hearing the statements of the alliance candidates who contested the polls.

Prof Emajuddin Ahmed, ex-judge AKM Anisur Rahman Khan, Prof Nurul Amin Bepari, Prof Dilara Chowdhury, and Advocate Mohsin Rashid are the other panel members.
