Bangladesh has become alert to the discharge of excess water by Chinese dams, which may result in floods downstream of the Brahmaputra River.

A fax message forwarded by the Bangladesh High Commission in Delhi to the Foreign Affairs and Water Resources ministries on Wednesday contained the ominous warning, reports UNB.
