The book will be open from 10:00am to 12:00pm and 2:00pm to 4:00pm at the embassy premises in House NE(J)9, Road 79, Gulshan-2, Dhaka-1212, according to an announcement by the embassy on Tuesday.
Andrey Karlov was shot by an off-duty police officer who shouted “Don’t forget Aleppo” and “Allahu Akbar” as he opened fire as he gave a speech at an Ankara art gallery on Monday.
“Russia condemns this inhumane crime aiming to undermine collective efforts to achieve a political settlement in Syria as well as normalization of relations between Russia and Turkey. This tragic event compels us to make the uncompromising fight against terrorism in all its manifestations ever more active,” the embassy announced in a statement.
Just after the assassination, Russian President Vladimir Putin has called for security to be stepped up in all Russian embassies around the world and said “the bandits” who committed the act would know retribution.
