A road in the heart of Delhi has been named after Bangladesh's Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and Indian Premier Narendra Modi today jointly unveiled the plaque newly christening the road formerly known as Park Street near Connaught Place.
Sheikh Hasina thanked the Indian government and PM Modi for naming a road in the Indian capital after Bangabandhu.
She also extended her thanks to Indian Minister for External Affairs Sushama Swaraj for her stride to select the road.
