BGB, BGP joint patrol ends in Naf River

The joint patrol of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) and Border Guard Police (BGP) of Myanmar ended in the Naf River along Cox's Bazar border in effective, amicable and peaceful manner on Wednesday. BGB’s 2nd Battalion Director Lt Col Md Asaduzzaman Chowdhury said Subeder Md Ibrahim Hossain led the 12-member BGB team while DyHtin Lin Maung headed the 10-member BGP 4 team during the joint drive. The joint patrolling started around 9:30am and ended at 11:20am. Earlier on March 5, the joint patrol between BGB and BGP held in the river for the first time in Teknaf. Then, Subeder Md Syed Enayet Ali had led the 13-member BGB team and DyBo Ang headed the 16-member BGP 4 team, the official added.
