UAE ambassador meets state minister for foreign affairs

Newly appointed ambassador of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to Bangladesh Saed Mohammed Al-Muhairi has met State Minister for Foreign Affairs M Shahriar Alam.

During the meeting on Wednesday, they discussed issues of mutual interest between the two countries, said sources at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The two expressed satisfaction with excellent bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries, especially the developments achieved in recent months.

While the ambassador expressed his determination to take the relationship to new heights during his tenure, the state minister assured the ambassador of his full support while in Bangladesh.

Earlier, the UAE ambassador also paid a courtesy call on Foreign Secretary M Shahidul Haque at the ministry.

Both expressed their desire to work together to enhance bilateral relations between the two countries.
