Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) and India’s Border Security Force (BSF) have celebrated Rakhi festival (Raksha Bandhan) at the Hili border area in Dinajpur.
Both BGB-BSF members on Sunday tied Rakhi to each other’s wrists and exchanged sweets to celebrate the occasion.
The celebration took place at the no man's land of the of the 11th sub-pillar of the 285 main-pillar of the Hili border check-post.
At the time, BSF female members tied Rakhi to BGB men and greet them with sweets; in return BGB female members did the same gesture with BSF men.
Hili BSF camp Commander Inspector Giriz Kumar and Jamil Badshah and BGB Hili IPC camp Commander Naib Subedar Abdul Malek were present among BGB-BSF men and female members during the ceremony.
