Awami League won the 11th parliamentary election which was held on December 30, 2018

Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) member states’ heads of mission have congratulated Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and her new cabinet on their victory in the 11th parliamentary election.

The OIC members, on Sunday, said Awami League's unprecedented victory in the election is a reflection of their hard work on development in the last 10 years, reports UNB.

A 17-member delegation—comprising ambassadors and Chargé d'affaires of the OIC member countries—handed Sheikh Hasina a bouquet at her official residence Ganabhaban.

Palestine Ambassador Yousef SY Rahman said: "You have achieved an unprecedented victory...your people have placed trust on you due to [your] hard work over the last 10 years.

“People have seen development, security, stability, and economic development.”
