President Abdul Hamid has reached Geneva,Switzerland to attend the Global Leaders Investment Summit and the 20th Annual Session of the Homeland and Global Security Forum.
An Emirates flight carrying the President, and his entourage, landed at Geneva International Airport at 11:45pm – Bangladesh time – on Monday night, reports UNB.
Ambassador M Shameem Ahsan welcomed him at the airport.
The president had left Dhaka for Geneva by a flight at 1:40am on Monday.
He will deliver speech at both the summit and the forum.
President Hamid is expected to return home on October 27.
