Another 148 Bangladesh nationals return home from the North African country on the same day
The dead bodies of seven Bangladesh nationals, who died in Libya, have arrived in Dhaka.
The bodies arrived at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in the capital at around 9:30am on Wednesday.
Fakhrul Alam, assistant director of the Expatriate Welfare Desk, confirmed the matter.
Another 148 Bangladesh citizens also returned from the North African country on the same day.
These Bangladeshis had gone to Libya at different times, on their way to Europe, according to sources.
They had first gone to Dubai, UAE on visit visas, from where they had travelled to Libya, they added.
The Brac Migration Program provided food to the returnees, who were tired and hungry after a long journey, at the airport.
Al-Amin Nayan, manager of the information service centre at Brac Migration Program, said they would provide further assistance if needed.
