Police are looking for ruling party supporters who engaged in a scuffle with law enforcement officials when barred from entering a Pohela Boishakh festival venue in Chittagong city Friday. Kotwali police filed a case naming 34 leaders and activists of Chhatra League and Jubo League and 40 unnamed others, hours after the incident in DC Hill area that left on-duty Inspector Kiran Barua injured. Four of the accused, detained from the area soon after the attack, were sent to jail through a court Saturday, Inspector (investigation) Jahedul Kabir of Kotwali police said.
