Female drug peddler held with 10 airguns

Police arrested an alleged woman drug peddler with 10 Indian-made airguns at Barobazar town of Jhenaidah on Monday night. The arrestee is Antora Khatun, 23, wife of Shafiqul Islam Shafi of Chougachha upazila in Jessore district. SI Tariqul Islam of Barobazar police, said a team of police conducted a drive in the area and arrested Antora while she and her cohorts were carrying the firearms in an  easy bike. Three cohorts including her husband manged to flee the spot, said the SI. A case was filed in this connection.
