The authorities of Shah Amanat International Airport in Chittagong have resumed flight operations at 9pm on Thursday after a suspension of three hours and 13 minutes.
Wing Commander Reazul Kabir, the airport manager, confirmed the development to the Dhaka Tribune, and said the suspension of flight operations delayed a domestic and an international flight in the meantime.
Earlier in the day, the airport authorities cancelled operations on the runway at 5:47pm, some 17 minutes after a Navy aircraft veered off of it.
After the aircraft was removed from the scene, the flight operations started again, the airport manager said.
The incident took place when the aircraft was landing at the airport, though it caused no casualties, airport sources said.
