Long-distance private bus operators are going to start selling advance tickets for Eid-ul-Azha holidaymakers from Friday.
The tickets will be available at all the inter-district bus terminals from August 18, said Bangladesh Road Transport Owners' Association Secretary General Khandaker Enayetullah as quoted by UNB.
He added that travellers can also buy tickets from the counters of their respective buses from 6am on the day.
Eid-ul-Azha is expected to be observed in the country in the first week of September.
