3 killed, 12 injured in Cox’s Bazar road accident
Three people have been killed and 12 others injured as a picnic bus turned turtle in Ramu upazila in Cox’s Bazar. The deceased are Saymum, 15, Ershad, 20, Hasan, 25. Tulabagan highway police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Mozahidul Islam said: "A Cox’s Bazar-bound bus of Asma Express turned turtle on Chittagong-Cox’s Bazar highway when its bus driver lost his control over the steering 7am on Monday. "All the three people died on the spot." Of the injured, two were taken to Chittagong Medical College Hospital in a critical condition while the other were taken to Cox’s Bazar Sadar Hospital. Cox's Bazar fire service Deputy Director Abdul Malek said firefighters went to the spot and recovered the bodies. He said the bodies have been kept at Cox’s Bazar Sadar morgue.
