BGB detains 12 intruders near Benapole border

Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) have detained 12 intruders at Raghunathpur thana in Benapole. Acting on a tip-off, BGB troopers detained six women, four men and two children on Monday morning when they were trying to enter Bangladesh illegally. Raghunathpur BGB camp Commander Mamun said the detainees mostly hail from Narail, Barisal, Pirojpur and Khulna. "They have been handed over to Benapole port police station after filing a case," he said.
