Body of Cox's Bazar speedboat operator recovered

Local people have recovered the body of a speedboat operator near Bakkhali point in Cox's Bazar on Friday morning. The dead was identified as Mohammad Anis, 25, son of one Master Jamil of Maheshkhali upazila's Gorakghata area. He had been missing since January 7 after a speedboat accident. According to sources, the speedboat had an accident with 11 passengers on board when it was on its way to Maheshkhali from Cox's Bazar. All the passengers except Anis were recovered alive. Maheshkhali Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Md Abul Kalam said that the body is in police custody.
