President Hamid to visit Noakhali’s Swarna Dweep Sunday

President Abdul Hamid will pay a visit to Swarna Dweep in Hatiya upazila of Noakhali on Sunday to inspect military exercises of the 17th and 3th Infantry Divisions of Bangladesh Army. Chief of Army Staff General Abu Belal Muhammad Shafiul Huq will welcome the president there. During his visit to the island, President Hamid will distribute winter clothes and quilts among cold-hit distressed people and inspect a coconut garden created by the army. He will also inaugurate the construction work of a 31-bed hospital and a dairy firm of the army.
