Another Rohingya man stabbed to death at Cox’s Bazar camp

Yet another Rohingya man was found stabbed to death at Balukhali Rohingya camp in Ukhiya upazila, Cox’s Bazar on early on Monday. The man, identified as Md Yusuf Ali, 55, was living in Block D of the camp, locals said. His body was recovered near a mosque in Block D around 8:30am. Yusuf was an imam of the mosque, locals said. Speaking to the Dhaka Tribune, Abul Khayer, officer-in-charge (OC) of Ukhiya police station, said Yusuf might have been killed by some fellow Rohingya men over previous enmity. He was found in a pool of his blood sometime after the Fazr prayer, some 50 metres outside of his tent at the camp. Earlier on Friday night, a Rohingya man was gunned down by some unidentified men at a Rohingya camp in Thaingkhali area of Ukhiya upazila.
